Laser Deposition of Bronze Aluminum on Steel Support
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2015, Vol 38, Issue 3
Abstract
In order to rise the wear and corrosion resistance of 0.45% C superficial steel layers, a multilayer coating was tested by injection of powder with 88.3% Cu; 9.5% Al; 2.2% Fe in melted bath by CO2 continuous wave laser. Layers made by different laser conditions were characterized by macro and microstructure analysis, phase quality analysis, by X ray diffractometry and microhardness analysis. Research was carried out regarding the importance of nickel alloy intermediary layer for the rising of cladding quality.

Microstructural Characteristics of Sintered Powder Metallurgy Alloys
The purpose of this paper is to study the influence of processing parameters on the microstructural characteristics of sintered powder metallurgy alloys. The specimens were produced from atomised iron powders with differ...
A Comparative Approach of Degradative Potential of Two Different Nanophotocatalysts onto a Model Textile Dye
Motivations and objectives. It is quite a difficult issue to treat, decolorize and mineralize textile dye waste containing dyes by conventional chemical methods (primary: adsorption, flocculation and secondary: chlorinat...
The Decreasing of the Energetic Losses at a Coke Dry Cooling Plant
The paper presents an energetic and technologic analysis of the metallurgic coke dry cooling plant (CDCPO) operating, and also the optimization of this process in the case of an industrial plant, existing in the Steel Wo...
Researches Concerning Phase Transition of Zirconium Titanate Prepared by Electrolytic Method
Powder zirconium titanate ceramics obtained by an electrolytic method has been investigated. Continuous phase transition were found to occur in powder zirconium titanate above and below a major discontinuity at 1120 oCĀ±1...
Environmental Risk Assessment for Thermal Power Plants
Thermal power plants still represent an important source of energy both in Romania and in Europe. Risks on the environment are primarily generated by the noxae generated from combustion of fossil fuels, namely: noxious g...
