Abstract
It is established that a provision in foreign countries, state control over drug trafficking can be divided into three groups of legal regimes: particularly harsh, strict, liberal. The basic model of control over the circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors. Perspectives of optimization of the legislation on state control over the circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors based on the experience of the European Union.
