LEGAL IDENTIFICATION OF THE STATUS OF INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

Abstract
The article reveals the notion of «Internally Displaced Persons» (IDPs), the current legal and regulatory framework for IDPs has been studied. Legal ways of solving problems of organization of direct practical activity on protection of the rights of internally displaced persons are analyzed. Actions are proposed to effectively address the problems of IDPs and use their positive potential. The importance of finalizing and approving draft laws and programs to strengthen guarantees for observing the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons has been determined.
