Legal Instruments of the Regulation of Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in Migration Area

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of legal instruments of regulation of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the field of migration. The article defines that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union forms the basis of the contractual mechanism of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the area of migration, asylum and border management, in particular, in countering illegal migration, implementation of the concept of integrated border management, effective provision of the right to asylum, operational measures and exchange of information on border guarding.
