LEGAL REGULATION OF AIR TRANSPORT IN UKRAINE: CURRENT STATE AND ADAPTATION TO WORLD STANDARDS

Abstract
The article describes the current state of the legal regulation of air transportation in Ukraine and the ways of its adaptation to world standards, as well as the possibility of borrowing foreign positive experience. The author notes that the legal provision of air transportation in Ukraine with the adoption of the new Air Code in 2011 is on the way of updating. The revival in the aviation market causes decrease of their price and improvement of service levels. In addition, the «entry» of foreign «low-cost» into the domestic aviation market causes the need for radical changes in the work of domestic carriers.
