LEJKOWATA KLATKA PIERSIOWA U DZIECI

Abstract
Niniejsza praca jest poświęcona klinicznej problematyce lejkowatej klatki piersiowej u dzieci. Wada ta jest jedną z najczęstszych wrodzonych deformacji przedniej ściany klatki piersiowej. Etiologii jej upatruje się w zaburzeniu osteo- i chondrogenezy. Wada ta może być powodem zaburzeń funkcji układu oddechowego i krążenia. Lejkowata klatka piersiowa negatywnie wpływa na estetykę wyglądu zewnętrznego. Wywiera także wyraźny wpływ na rozwój psychiczny dziecka i jego relacje społeczne. W pracy omówiono radiologiczne sposoby oceny ciężkości wady oraz sposoby postępowania terapeutycznego. Przedstawiono nowoczesny sposób korekcji wady – metodę Nussa, technikę operacji, omówiono ewentualne powikłania oraz postępowanie pooperacyjne.
