Les Effets persuasifs de l’humiliation en argot camerounais : le cas des mots et expressions désignant les parias de la société

Journal Title: Argotica - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue 1

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the persuasive effects of slang words on humiliation in Cameroon. We focus on five categories of people: widows, albinos, unmarried women, sterile women and homosexuals. Our work thus comprises three parts: the origin of the slang words relating to the humiliation in Cameroon, the different forms they take and the persuasive effects that these words generate.
