Journal Title: Argotica - Year 2013, Vol 0, Issue 1

This paper describes the linguistic codification of violence in political communication in Côte d’Ivoire and analyzes the effects in terms of value or worthlessness of political opponent. While not addressing the real impact on the population, it helps however to appreciate the violence of the expression of disagreement in the Ivorian populism using all media existing public communication.
