Licensing as a direction of management in the field of health protection.

Abstract
Legislation and regulations on licensing activities in the field of health are being studied. The notion of licensing is considered, which is ambiguous. It is specified that licensing is subject to medical activity, medical practice and their identified types. Emphasizes the importance of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as the only licensing body that can verify compliance by the licensee with the Licensing Terms of Medical Practice. It points to the creation of a positive legislative framework for licensing, which, however, requires significant improvements in eliminating excessive regulation and bureaucratization, internal contradictions, which complicates the licensing process. Proposals are made not only on the harmonization of normative legal acts in their content and requirements to the subjects of licensing activity, but also at the same time, the development of a single legal document for engaging in such activities and their compliance with international standards.
