Life and Work of John of Shanghai (Maximovich) as an example of intercultural communication

Abstract
The article is devoted to the domestic kind of thinker and theologian John of Shanghai. The author makes an attempt to reproduce the spiritual portrait of a personality of social and cultural upheavals of the beginning of the twentieth century. St. Proceedings began a significant contribution to the development of theological literature, and his actions – support for the numerous exiles.
