LIFE OF BORIS MIRОNCHUK – A TEACHER, MENTOR, ORGANIZER, ADVOCATE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS, ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF THE FACULTY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF THE SLAVIC STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE

Abstract
Сourse of life of Borys Antonovych Mironchuk – educator, tutor, organizer, propagandist of physical training and sport, one of the founder of faculty of physical education of Sloviansk pedagogical institute. This year is the eightieth anniversary of the birth of B.A. Mironcuk who is famous in Ukraine and abroad as he worked in the field of physical educationand sport for 40 years. Among many of his services to national science, a special place is occupied by the creation of an original theory about physical culture, human activity, a system of personnel training. Borys Antonovych went a long way from an employee and a teacher to the dean of the faculty of physical education. One of his achievements is that he was a founder of the faculty of physical education in 1985. Borys Antonovych was born on the 6th of May in 1938 in Zaluzhie village of Belgorod district of Khmelnitsk region. After leaving school he worked as a tractor driver in the state farm “Maiak” from 1956 to 1968 in Voroshylovograd district of Sverdlovsk region. Later he graduated from physical education department of Khmelnitsk pedagogical college. During his study at college Borys Antonovych met his future spouse Yekateryna Sergiivna who was studing here on the faculty of primary school teachers. His wife gave birth to two children Ann and Arthur by name. After school leaving they both studied at Sloviansk state pedagogical institute. From 1958–1961 Borys Antonovych served in the armed forces in Chernigiv. From 1961–1965 this outstanding person studied and graduated from Kyiv state institute of physical education. After graduation he became to work at the department of physical education of SDPI. From 1967 to 1971 Borys Antonovych worked as a head of the sport club. From 1977 he worked as a headof sub-faculty of physical education. In 1984 he defended a thesis and soon he was appointed as a head of the physical educationdepartment in 1985. In 1989 Borys Antonovych worked as a head of thedepartment of MESPD. 1989 he was awarded with honorable symbol of “honors person of national education” and in 1991 he got the certificate of the associate professor. In 1993 this remarkable researcher was appointed as a dean of faculty of physical education and worked as head of the sub-facultyof MESPD. Borys Antonovych died on the 28th of February in 2005. The colleagues and graduating students will never forget their tutor Borys Antonovych.
