LOCAL POSITIONING IN SEARCH ENGINES: DIGITAL MARKETING ALTERNATIVE FOR TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF CANCUN

Abstract
The following research is about the implementation of a methodology to increase the amount of visitors at the web browsers at a Public Institution of Higher Education. In able to do this research were applied the SEO techniques, which means, improve the web browsers by choosing the key words of interest for the users (applicants, students, workers and community in general), the strategy was defined by the content and was needed to optimized the Google local business profile of the Institution, achieving to raise the interactions of the Institute using different key words and improving the presence of the TecNM campus Cancún on web in a period of 6 months. It’ll be shown the analysis of the local organic positioning (local SEO), the optimization strategy implemented and the obtained results.
