Abstract

This work analyzes the rights that people have to higher education, in this sense a comprehensive study of the current legal regulations is carried out based on the reality of the universities in the Ecuadorian context, as institutions in charge of Professional training taking into account the great contributions of the aforementioned institutions in the development of society. The research is of a theoretical nature; hence, it resorts to the application of methods of its nature, among which the analysis and synthesis stand out, which allowed A to reflect critically on the subject matter studied. It should be borne in mind that the demands of today's society denote greater performance of people in the different fields of knowledge, in which sense the work of higher education institutions, including university work, is fundamental for its academic and scientific nature. to approach the processes of construction of knowledge. The results of the investigation show that the current legal regulations do not meet the real needs of the universities, however, despite the limitations, they provide quality service and educational excellence.
