Low complexity demodulator for BFSK waveforms based on polygonal approximation
Journal Title: Revista Facultad de Ingeniería-Universidad de Antioquia - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 74
Abstract
The present article relates in general to digital demodulation of Binary Frequency Shift Keying (BFSK waveform). New processing methods for demodulating BFSK-signals are proposed here through the use of segmentation curve techniques. Based on Sampler Correlator, the complexity in hardware for the proposed techniques is reduced in comparison with other reported. Theoretical details concerning limits of applicability are also given by closed-form expressions. Simulation experiments are illustrated to validate the overall performance.

Design, modeling and dynamic simulation of three double stage gearboxes with different module, mesh stiffness fluctuation and different level tooth breakage
This paper presents the detection of failure in gears using, as a statistical indicator, the Root Mean Square value from the vibration residual signal. Models for three double stage gearboxes are considered on the analys...
Acoustic and mechanic characterization of materials used in manufacturing the soundboard of the spanish guitar: influence in the sonority
This paper presents a study relating the most commonly used materials in manufacturing the top plate of the Spanish guitar and some sound characteristics such as timbre, volume, and duration. Theoretically, the wood infl...
Incorporación de otras materias primas como fuentes de azúcares fermentables en destilerías existentes de alcohol
This paper presents alternatives for meeting the deficit in sugared substrates in a territory with several sugar mills and ethanol distilleries so they can reach their current production capacity. By using secondary curr...
Imputation of spatial air quality data using gis-spline and the index of agreement in sparse urban monitoring networks
This paper presents a procedure to address the lack of spatial air quality data in urban areas, based on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial interpolation techniques as an alternative to conventio...
