Abstract
(The “Hungarian Photographic Style” in the Representation of Women in Zoltán Andory Aladics’s Postcards) In my paper I examine how a 20th century artist, Zoltán Andory Aladics, created the visual representation of the Szeklerland within the genre of the postcard. The central question of the research is how the visual system created through the depictions of the 20th century postcards relates to the image of the Szeklerland which visual system actually determines our days. My aim is that to make a special interpretation of the Szekler life visible through these postcards, and also to make the rethinking of the Szekler life possible. (As a researcher kezdetű mondat jó!) Folytatás: From that point of view I tried to answer the question what the postcards tell us about, and what is that we add to them in a following century. What could they see in the 20th century and what can we see on them nowadays?
