The conceptual aspects of the professional training of future musical art teachers are researched in psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature. The pedagogical principles of the future teachers’ professional training are covered in the studies of E. Abdulin, S. Arkhanhelskyi, V. Bondar, V. Haluzynskyi, V. Zahviazynskyi, and A. Rudnytskyi. Problems of professional training of music teachers and modern theory of musical and pedagogical education are considered in the works of L. Havrilova, O. Demianchuk, L. Masol, O. Oleksiuk, and others. The aim of the article is to reveal the main trends in the development of artistic education taking into account the systemic approach. Educational activity of the future musical art teacher is considered from the point of axiological, praxeological, and polyatrcentric approaches. The training of art faculty students for the implementation of musical and educational activities in the conditions of a secondary school is singled out. The specificity of the future musical art teachers’ professional training for educational activities at music lessons and during extracurricular musical activities with pupils is considered. In the process of implementing musical education, which consolidates the competence of the music teacher, the creative activity becomes essential as it involves the ability to consider any phenomena from different viewpoints, apply knowledge from various artistic branches in solving a specific task, that is, the ability to independently make decisions and bear responsibility for them. The main scientific approaches to the methodological training of future musical art teachers have been defined by us: axiological, praxeological, and polyartcentric.
