MANAGEMENT OF CAPITAL OF INSURANCE COMPANIES

Abstract
The essence of the capital of insurance companies is investigated. It is disclosed that the requirements for capital adequacy of an insurance company are established by law by means of determining the minimum amount of authorized capital. The structure of equity capital of an insurance company is analysed. The insurance companies with the largest amounts of equity in Ukraine are shown. It is proved that the structure of capital affects the level of profitability of assets and equity.
