Management of hospital and business activity management in the context of permissibility of conjunction of the post of borough leader and the post of hospital manager

Abstract
The legislator does not enforce a general interdiction of working for two employers simultaneously. However, some kind of legal restraint is established in this area due to various reasons. One of such restraints directed at a borough leader is the interdiction of business activity management. The aim of this study is a thorough analysis of the regulations restraining a borough leader from undertaking additional activities and an attempt to answer the question whether the conjunction of the post of borough leader and the post of hospital manager is permitted according to these regulations. As it turns out, it is not always the case that performing the post of a hospital manager is tantamount to the interdicted management of someone else’s business activity. Whether we are to do with such kind of management in a given case depends on the legal status of the medical entity whose enterprise is constituted by the hospital. On the other hand, this status depends on who is its so-called founding body and depends on the form in which a given medical entity is run.
