Managing strategy paradoxes at universities

Abstract
Strategic tensions, called paradoxes, arise in any organization, including contemporary universities.The author, based on the work of de Wit and Meyer (2007), attempts to identify strategyparadoxes at universities and shows how to manage them. The author tries to show that themanagement of identified strategy paradoxes will help solving the complex problems associatedwith managing a contemporary university.
