MARINE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION BRANCH OF UNITED KINGDOM: BASIS OF ORGANIZATION AND FUNCTIONING

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the operation of the UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch, in order to draw on the experience for further use within the framework of the system of investigation of maritime accidents in Ukraine. The functions and structure of the branch are analyzed. Attention is focused on the individual lessons learned from marine accidents and published by the branch.
