MATERIAIS DIDÁTICOS COM USO DE METODOLOGIAS ATIVAS NO ENSINO MÉDIO

Abstract

The objective was to analyze a teaching experience carried out with high school students with a focus on teaching, on didactic materials and active methodologies for teaching Geography. The hypothetical deductive method was used using the Case Study as a pedagogical tool. We worked with a teacher and 88 students from two classes of the first years at a Technical School in the interior of Pernambuco-Brazil, through the application of questionnaires and through the observation of the use and construction of active methodologies. The researched teacher described that the active methodologies for the Geography classes, present countless possibilities to stimulate the student's interest, provide growth and provide a greater learning in relation to the studied subject. About the students, it was found that the majority are 15 years old; they are female and have a family income of up to one minimum wage. Most do not find it difficult to study geography and prefer field classes and dynamic / practical classes. However, they do not receive classes using technological resources. Working in this way is an activity that becomes a challenge to be carried out, as it requires a union with teachers from other disciplines for logistical support so that greater care can be taken with these students, written authorization from those responsible and support from the school management.
