MEASURES OF COUNTERING WAR PROPAGANDA IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The international and national legal bases of counteraction to war propaganda are considered. A brief overview of the history of the propaganda organs during the period of the formation of Soviet Union before the end of the Great Patriotic War was carried out. Specific active and perspective measures of countering war propaganda are determined. The groups of people on which the latter should be directed are allocated. The methods of countering the war propaganda (conviction, prohibition, restriction, promotion, popularization, explanation, critical analysis, etc.) are outlined. To create a separate consolidating structural unit – its own campaigning and propaganda agency with a network of structural subdivisions in other government bodies, institutions, organizations and mass media is proposed.
