Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to justify theoretical and practical foundations of the formation mechanism of management of economic potential of enterprises. Methodology of research. The solution in the article the tasks carried out with the help of such scientific and special research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization. Findings. Summarizes the theoretical basis for the functioning of the mechanism of management of economic potential of the modern enterprise, and outlined practical aspects of ensuring the effectiveness of its operation. Practical value. The article substantiates that the study of the mechanism of management of economic potential should be focused on building adequate to the current economic conditions model, assess its effectiveness and adaptability adapt to abrupt economic changes. The proposed integrated approach to the creation of the mechanism of management of economic potential of the enterprise, which takes into account the strategic (prospective), current and operational components.
