MECHANISMS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL PROTECTION OF THE COURT ADMINISTRATOR

Abstract
The article analyzes the basic mechanisms of psychological protection of the court administrators and judges, such as rationalization, displacement, projection, depersonalization, substitution, compensation, sublimation, catharsis, regression. As well as a form of psychological protection of the court workers known as a syndrome of emotional “burnout”. It is noted that the psychological defensive mechanisms are structural components of personality which protect it from inner emotional stress, anxiety, fear. It is proved that these psychological defensive mechanisms are activated only when used in the system, because they can not be effective by themselves. Under the conditions of constant stress, the human mind is forced to resort to one, several or limited combinations of different security mechanisms. The main disadvantages in the organization of psychological protection in the judicial system are determined and measures for the prevention and overcoming of negative impacts on the mind in the course of professional activities are proposed.
