MEDIA EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AS A MEANS OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF COLLEGE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article describes the basic concepts of studying the problem of the implementation of media educational technologies in educational activities of the educational institution, in particular, such as media education, media culture, media literacy and media competence. The main European approaches to the use of media education in non-formal, informal education and self-education of a person during his lifetime are highlighted. The peculiarities and the current state of the application of media technologies as a means of improving the quality of educational activities of the college are revealed. The basic functions of media education technologies in the educational process of technical educational institutions are determined. The factors of formation of media culture among teachers and students have been specified. The emphasis has been placed on the importance of using modern media technologies, that leads to the broadening of the content of vocational training, methods and organizational forms of the educational process, ensuring a high scientific and methodological level of teaching of disciplines. The expediency of using cloud technologies during the study of professional disciplines in technical establishments has been proved. The model of the implementation of media education technologies in the college educational process is presented. The innovative approaches for improving the educational process that contribute to the improving of education quality and the competitiveness of the future specialists in the labor market are proposed.
