Abstract

The aspects of using the media education component in the cultural language preparation of future Ukrainian language teachers are considered in the article. It is noted that the essence of the media education component consists of an effective development of linguistic means for extracting, processing and producing media texts. The media education component in the preparation of future teachers of language is implemented in several areas, in particular, integrated and special. The experience of higher educational institutions, the analysis of scientific sources confirms: the linguopraxeological approach is significant for the organization of successful professional activity using the media education component, its productivity, rationality, efficiency. The result of such training is the practical skills in searching and assimilating media information; ability to use the opportunities of various media texts for teaching, education, development of students; the ability to create own diverse media products, including teaching and educational content.
