MEDIATION REGARDING JUVENILE OFFENDERS AS PERCEIVED BY JUVENILE SHELTER INMATES

Abstract
The article presents mediation regarding juveniles in Polish legislation: selection of cases referred to mediation, conditions on the age of the parties to mediation proceedings, the me-diator’s responsibilities, and the rules and course of the mediation process itself. Research was conducted to determine the level of knowledge and the number of mediations among juvenile shelter inmates.
