Mental Health Service Utilization And Upgrading Services: A Retrospective Statistical Review.

Abstract
Mental health care facility forms a cornerstone of service provision to community. Many barriers causes under utilization of mental health care facility. We in our study studied one of such barriers. We studied impact of up gradation of services in tertiary care center. Significant rise in utilization of services by community was observed despite of relative stagnation in other barriers. Our study highlights need of up to date infrastructure, technology and manpower in mental health care facility and its positive impact on utilization of services.
