Métaphore et comparaison: aspect linguo-cognitif de leur différenciation

Abstract
Lʼétude approfondie de la métaphore dans les différentes perspectives de la linguistique moderne a permis de l’interpréter non seulement comme une expression verbale de la mentalité créatrice des porteurs de la langue, mais aussi comme l’une des opéra- tions mentales de la catégorisation de la réalité. Dans ce cas-là, la métaphorisation est assimilée à la comparaison avec laquelle celle- là est souvent identifiée. En appliquant la théorie de la modélisation cognitive l’auteur montre la différence entre ces deux phéno- mènes au niveau structurel et au niveau de la sémantique profonde.
