Metaphoric Nomination of the Image of State in English-Canadian Poetry of the XVIII-XXI Centuries

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of metaphor as the main way of imagebearing nomination of the image of state in English-Canadian poetry. Special attention is drawn to the metaphor’s classification according to morphological, syntactic and semantic principles.
