METAPHORICAL REPRESENTATION OF BIATHLON IN SPORTS COMMENT

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of imperfect study of speech Ukrainian sports commentators. It focuses on the metaphor as a tool imaginative play of sports wents. The paper identifies and characterises the metaphor, which represent biathlon shown by site XSport.ua. It systemises the collected material with the help of metaphorical modeling method.
