Method development and validation of Pioglitazone and Saxagliptin by RPHPLC

Abstract

Analytical method by using RP-HPLC was developed for the determination of saxagliptin and pioglitazone. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer : methanol (80:20 v/v) was used as mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 272 nm, flow rate of 1ml/min and retention time of Saxagliptin was 2.998 minutes and Pioglitazone was 4.310 minutes. The method was validated and all the parameters were within the limits.
