METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO IMPROVE THE STUDENTS INDEPENDENT WORK ON DISCIPLINE “USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN AGRICULTURE”

Abstract

Introduction. The effective professional learning practice has to be coupled with the well-formed organizational skills, ability to find educational information and analyze it independently, capacity to solve computational and graphics tasks, self-assessment and readiness for enhanced studying. Methods. The study is relevant due to increasing demand of new approaches to the organization of students’ individual work, improvement and modernization of the educational activity system, identification and dissemination of positive organization experience and development of scientific activity at modern higher education institutions. The purpose of the study is to present the forms of pedagogical influence, provided by the instructional materials and modern technologies in education. The technique of the end-to-end individual study organization aims to carry out effective instruments for educational performance assessment, which includes self-assessment. Results. The results of the end-to-end individual study principle applying indicate the effectiveness of this educational technology on grounds that educational outcomes have significantly improved. Discussion. The analysis of successful cases of organization of students’ individual study has enabled to provide the recommendations on the use of these methodological approaches in teaching.
