Journal Title: Інноваційна економіка - Year 2017, Vol 72, Issue 11

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to create a system of methods for assessing the production and distribution of grain crops in Ukraine. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the scientific works of scientists and researchers, normative acts and laws of Ukraine, which regulate questions concerning grain economy. In the process of research, the following methods are used: the descriptive (theoretical) method (to determine the basic conditions and conditions of the production and distribution of grain products), factor analysis (to determine the most influential factors affecting the production and distribution process), cluster analysis/construction of the Kohonen map (for the identification of a group of companies and countries for a similar database of indicators), forecasting (in order to identify the main strategic directions for further development), the tree of decisions (for the formation of a system of development of events but the market and the identification of the most optimal and profitable strategy), based on the results obtained formed a block of decision-making. Findings. The main participants of the grain crop market have been identified and the tasks of estimating production and distribution of resources are set. The main indicators of the grain market evaluation are considered, the features of the selected methodology of the comprehensive assessment are determined. Based on determined market participants, selected statistical indicators, theoretical basis, selected methods and software, a systematic scheme of estimation of production and distribution of grain crops is constructed. Originality. The complex approach to the substantiation of the theoretical component of the research, as well as the indicators with the help of the selected methods, used for estimating the production and distribution of grain crops in Ukraine was used. Practical value. The results of the study are a fundamental basis for assessing the production and distribution of grain crops of the Ukrainian state as a participant in the global grain market.
