METHODOLOGY AND PRAGMATICS OF PSYCHO-CYBERNETIC LINGUO-DIDACTICS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES (ON THE MATERIAL OF ENGLISH)

Abstract
Abstract. Nowadays in the conditions of world globalization the problem of productive accelerated instruction of common-use English has become very topical. Traditional linguo-didactic means are aimed at extended training and carry out this task, in our opinion, irrationally using reading as the initial point of the speaking capacity acquisition. To avoid the circuitous way, the Laboratory of Computer-Based English Instruction Technologies of the Flight Academy of the National Aviation University offers the psycho-cybernetic approach. The two distinguishing features of the approach are psycho-optimization and technological optimization (fully-controllable cyberneticembodiment). Psycho-optimization implies first of all "personification", that is the overcoming of the traditional learner’s estrangement from the thematic contents of the training process. Personification contributes to activation of the psycho-cognitive processes, in particular those of perception, memorization and analytical mental activities. The cybernetic aspect of the proposed approach provides through and strict control of the personal training activities on the step-by-step foundation on the limited communicatively-justified and personally-related lexical substratum in the wholly self-contained conditions in case electronic learning means are employed. It is proposed to uselingualexercisers as the acceptable form of realization of the psycho-cybernetic approach. The Laboratory is now developing "A Personified Computer-Based Common-Use English Exerciser". The instructional material for the "Exerciser»embraces attitude to actions(verbal formation of personal memory) and actions themselves (verbal formation of autobiographic memory and episodic memory). One of the specific innovational features of the Exerciser is the integral introducing of the whole system of the English Tenses (one of the principles of gestalt-psychology) based on the original algorithmin contrast with the traditional distant, extended in time approach. "A Personified Computer-Based Common-Use English Exerciser" is to be followed by "Personified Computer-Based Situational Common-Use English" (its development is now under way).
