METHODS OF CONDUCTION OF PERIODISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS’ MANAGEMENT THEORY DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE (THE LAST QUARTER OF THE XX CENTURY - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY)

Abstract

The article describes one of the most important and difficult tasks of historical and pedagogical sciences – conduction of periodisation development of the phenomenon under analysis. The scientific research, which studied the issue of periodization of higher education institutions’ management theory development in Ukraine (the last quarter of the XX century – the beginning of the XXI century) is fragmentary. Scientists have touched some of its aspects; substantiation of the methods of the problem under analysis is absent. This study of conduction of periodization will determine the internal logic, the regularities of higher educational institutions’ management theory development; its structural features, evolution of concepts and ideas; factors and their importance in the development of higher educational institutions’ management theory at different stages of its genesis, which rises as the driving force of change in the above mentioned period. Essence of the concept of «periodization» and grounding the phases of conduction of periodization of higher educational institutions’ management theory development in Ukraine in the last quarter of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century is defined in the article. With the traditional method of documents analysis containing text perception, singling out the semantic blocks of ideas, assertions, the author analyses applicability, nature, structure and the concept usage of «periodization», «object of periodization», «subject of periodization» and «attribute of periodization». The analysis suggested a new understanding of the essence of the concept of «periodization» considering the features of the studied scientific problem. The author singled out the stages of periodization construction of higher educational institutions’ management theory development in Ukraine in the specified period. The article regards periodization as one of the main methods of research; the author relies on the following methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization and systematization of the received facts. The substantiated methods of periodization create more favourable conditions to determine the chronological limits of the phenomenon and increase the effectiveness of higher education institutions’ management theory development in Ukraine (the last quarter of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century).
