Journal Title: Scientific journal «International Journal of Philology» - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 225

Abstract

The article refers to the introduction to the scientific study of a new technique of Slavic Cyrillic manuscripts by semiotics, which is designed to detect specific patterns belonging to the original manuscript tradition heritage. The introduced new semiotic system should be useful to researchers in Slavic manuscripts in identifying the desired traditions in handwriting. Addressing the issues associated with the revival and preservation of national heritage of Ukraine pressing need is to establish the true situation that the Ukrainian manuscript heritage. The fact that during the Soviet period and the post-Soviet period in Russian Ukrainian science handwritten books are referred to Russian. In the catalog, descriptions, research reports, exploration and Russian scientists of Ukrainian manuscripts attributed to a common list with, and often not even a point to their affiliation to Ukrainian traditions. And if they are indicated, it sounded like this: "Russian manuscript with elements of Ukrainisms" or "Lviv Gospel Moldova-voloshskoyi tradition of Galician-valynskymy elements." One of the differences of Slavic (Cyrillic) is their manuscripts belonging to distinct linguistic traditions. It is known that in the IX century .the contradiction to the approval of the law on trilingualism Cyril and Methodius church in turn was introduced common for all Slavic Church Slavonic. The Glagolitic alphabet (Cyrillic later) was established and i the translation work was ntroduced. But eventually each of Slavic peoples who used the Church Slavonic language as a liturgical practice, began to add to the existing rules, their, own. These rules concerned grammar, and graphics, and dialectical change of the language. So every Slavic people gradually created their own pronunciation, excellent writing, their own tradition of liturgical practice. Hence the manuscript heritage that is the heritage of the Slavs in general as well as particular ethnic group in particular has, in fact, only the inherent differences. These linguistic differences may be useful in identifying particular manuscript traditions as a carrier of a particular ethnic group.
