METHODS OF PROCESS-ORIENTED STUDY OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSLATION COMPETENCE

Abstract
Article presents an overview of the methods used in process-oriented studies of the formation and development of translation competence, and their advantages and disadvantages are described. The TransComp long-term study, which studies the development of translation competence among students studying the translation and compares it with the competence of professional translators with experience, is presented. Resource management systems are considered and recommended, which will make the data of the translation process accessible to the scientific community and establish the foundations of the platform for the exchange of information.
