Methods of Treatment of Patients Suffering From Depressive Type of Schozoaffective Disorder

Abstract
The article presents the results of a comparative study of the therapeutic efficacy of atypical antipsychotics in combination with sertraline in the treatment of patients suffering from depressive type of schizoaffective disorder. The assessment of effectiveness was carried out using rating scales HAMD-21, PANSS and CGI-I. We observed a rather high clinical efficacy of drugs in the treatment of patients with depressive type of schizoaffective disorder and features of the spectrum of therapeutic effects on the indicated disorder. The results of the study showed that the drugs were well tolerated and did not show extrapyramidal disorders, facilitated the transition to remission and improved compliance between the physician and the patient.
