Abstract
The international practice of improving the institutional structures of the countries responsible for water resources management in different socio-economic and natural-climatic conditions was studied. The results of studies are presented, the purpose of which was to study the possibilities of applying the principles of integrated management in order to improve the institutional structures and methods of water resources management. The results of the research made it possible to formulate trends in the improvement of institutional structures, taking into account the application of the principles of integrated water resources management.
