Abstract
For sustained and profitable fruit growing, an orchard should be established with species and varieties with wellknown fertilization biology. The essential precautions should be taken in the case of the existence of insemination problems like; incompatibility or infertility in the fruit varieties to be cultured. Otherwise, the arise of significant economic damage is inevitable due to the absence of yield or meager yield. For the turn of blossoms into fruit, the most critical risks are incompatibility and infertility. It should be known if there are incompatibility or infertility problems or not in the fruit species to be used. Additionally, if they have; which type of incompatibility or infertility they have should be known, precautions should be taken during the fruit orchard institutaon’s establishment. By considering incompatibility and infertility problems of fruit varieties that are used to obtain products economically, at least one or more pollinator types should be used. Most of the time, there is no possibility of getting high efficiency economically from the fruit orchards which have been established with the one variety even if it has self-compatibility. If there are incompatibility and infertility in the fruit variety to be cultured, pollinator genotypes absolutely should be used and more pollinator genotypes should be used in the rainy regions.
