Mimarlık ve İnşaat Mühendisliği Arakesitinde Disiplinler Arası Eğitimin Önemi

Abstract
Interdisciplinary study in education has an important role in terms of increasing the quality of education and producing more qualified projects in the continuously changing world. In the undergraduate education, where the foundations of the profession are laid, cooperation studies have great importance in terms of creating a common language, sharing knowledge and skills with the architecture which is the professional group of civil engineers will work with most in their business life. T he study was formed in order to analyze the contribution of the architectural kno wledge course given in the context of interdisciplinary cooperation in the department of civil engineering to the education life of the students and to determine the positive and negative aspects in terms of course operation/scope. In the study, a question naire was applied to 132 students with 3 rd , 4th grade students . In the findings, it has been determined that the students who participated in the survey stated that it would be more beneficial to increase the number of application and drawing studies in ar chitecture knowledge class. In addition, it is found that students request increasing of the number of supplementary courses such as technical drawing, building elements, building materials and site techniques which can contribute to this lesson.
