Abstract
Breslavets G. M. Comprehension of cultural codes of the folklore text in musical compositions of I. Gaidenko: the paper is devoted to specifics of composer’s reconstruction of the folklore text in musical creativity of Ukraine composer I. Gaidenko. The aim is to determine the role of folklore text` cultural codes and the specifics of their artistic realization in I. Gaidenko's musical compositions. The material for consideration was the chamber cantata "Six Women's Songs" for soprano, flute, piano and cello (1992), based on ancient folk texts. The embodiment cultural codes of a folklore text (mythical and symbolic, intonation and semantic, and verbal) in musical compositions of I. Gaidenko depicted a modern folkloristic trend of usage of characteristic to folk tradition signs and symbols sealed in ancient senses which gave an opportunity to find out the way of influence of the folklore tradition on an individual thinking and comprehension of structural and semiotic features of a folklore text in the coordinate system of composer’s artistic thinking. Cultural discourse on the reconstruction of folklore text was considered at the levels of figurative, semantic, substantive and structural aspects.
