Abstract
In this article the international consolidation of human right to dignity is briefly described. It is established that proper mechanisms for the protection of human dignity provide guarantees for the observance of all other human rights. It is clarified, that at the national level human dignity is interpreted as one of the fundamental constitutional principles in Ukraine, the action of which directs the entire complex of socially political relations. It is indicated, that the multiplicity of the concept of human dignity allows us to combine the right to its protection with the fundamental rights to life and health, inviolability and security
