Modelling of Two-Seat Connection to the Frame of Rail Wagon in Terms of Resistance at Impact Test
Journal Title: Strojnicky casopis - Journal of Mechanical Engineering - Year 2016, Vol 66, Issue 2
Abstract
This contribution explores how design changes can affect resistance of rail wagon seat-to-frame connections at impact test and proposes alternative way to construct such connections. Results were due to a nature of presented problem obtained by computer modelling using MSC Nastran with explicit finite element method solution invoked. Physical tests were also conducted and comparison with numerical results is presented.

Nonlinear Model of the Passenger Car Seat Suspension System
The paper deals with the modelling of a passenger car seat suspension system. Currently, vehicle safety and ride comfort are one of the most important factors of vehicle design. This article analyses a mathematical mod...
The Finite Element Analysis of High Precision Positioning System
The paper deals with design and computation of precise positioning mechanism. The aim of mechanism is to transfer applied load without any change of position of parts in question. The stabilization of position is assur...
The Use of Optical Methods in the Analysis of the Areas with Stress Concentration
Anchoring parts of technical systems are often damaged due to the heavy forces acting on these systems during their operation. For that reason, various modifications are suggested and created on the anchoring screws, w...
Stress Analysis of Dental Implant Inserted in the Mandible
The aim of the paper is to obtain the values of dental implant stress analysis. The dental implant was inserted in the part of mandible bone. Stress analysis was carried out using the Finite Elements Method and simplif...
Numerical Simulation of Heat Transfer Behavior of Dissimilar AA5052-AA6061 Plates in Fiction Stir Welding: An Experimental Validation
Fiction Stir welding (FSW) a unique type of metal joining process in solid state, where the heat generation takes place due to the friction action between the rotating tool and the work piece. It is generally used to j...
