MODELS AND METHODS FOR CALCULATING PROBABILITY-TIME CHARACTERISTICS OF SWITCHING NODES OF TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORKS

Abstract
The principle of activity of the switching node in telecom-munication networks is considered. Models of this node are developed based on classical mass service systems, which include Poisson input request flow, exponential service time, limited and unlimited queuing, and the transition graph of the ‘Death and Reproduction’ scheme, and based on them, the methods of calculating the probability-time characteristics of the considered node are proposed.
