MODEN METHODS OF WORK OF SOCIAL EMPLOYEE WITH CLIENTS WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS

Abstract
The strategic course on the construction of a social legal state, integrated into the world economic space, which Ukraine has chosen, requires the approximation of domestic humanitarian policy to social standards that are applied in world practice in relation to different categories of the population and aimed at ensuring a decent life. One of the categories, which is a cer-tain indicator of the level of social maturity of the state and society, is disabled people with special needs. The problem of us-ing modern methods of social and vocational rehabilitation of the disabled in Ukraine is extremely important and relevant. In Ukraine, the number of people with special needs is increasing, indicating its severity and prevalence. The urgency of the problem, its practical significance led to the choice of the topic of our study. The purpose of the research is to investigate modern methods of work used by the personnel of social services to the given category of clients. In the course of our study, which lasted during the industrial practice of the students of the specialty "social work", we tried to find out promising meth-ods of work of specialists of the social sphere with people who have special needs. The author reveals the importance of prac-tically oriented technologies of work with the specified category of clients. Within the limits of the industrial practice, the fu-ture social employee learns to solve the complex professional tasks, to analyze needs and to adjust the methods of working with people who have special needs. The conducted research allows us to conclude that the peculiarity of the modern ap-proach in work with this category is the involvement of clients themselves in the process of adaptation, rehabilitation and in-tegration. The problem of improving the methods of social protection of persons with disabilities is quite solvable. To do this, the following tools are need: the use of information technology that allows to generate statistics on the issue of disability; the use of humanistic and motive-rational therapy; application of effective methods of motivation of vital activity: biographical method, art therapy, film therapy, musical psychotherapy, organization of rehabilitation of invalids with the help of physical culture and sports.
