MODERN METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING OF EDUCATIONAL DISCIPLINES OF VETERINARY DIRECTION

Abstract
Introduction. Higher education in Ukraine is focused on meeting the educational requirements of the individual, exchanging the experience, integration of the Ukrainian science into the global scientific process and saturation of labor market with skilled specialists, veterinary medicine specialists in particular. Therefore, the introduction of modern methods of teaching allows training highly qualified specialists capable to solve production or scientific challenges. Methods. The modern methods of professionally oriented courses teaching for the students of Veterinary medicine department at Poltava State Agrarian Academy have been analyzed. Results. From the analysis of data it is concluded that the teaching of professionally oriented disciplines through the use of the software and multimedia support focuses on the formation of well- educated self-contained person, capable to updating of scientific knowledge and professional mobility. Discussion. New perspectives in teaching of veterinary disciplines are concerned with the adoption of the best European practices to the training materials for the students of Veterinary medicine department in order to increase its effectiveness.
