MODERN TRENDS OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE CORPORATE BOND MARKET IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Modern business cannot be imagined without borrowing sources of financing its activities. The level of technology development, the need to implement innovative projects, modernization of equipment, and the expansion of markets determine the need for significant medium and long-term funding. In this context, the article analyses the current state of the corporate bond market in Ukraine in terms of key elements of the investment process: issuers, investors, and infrastructure. The problems that restrain issuing in the real sector of the country’s economy are revealed, reasons of weak activity of individuals in the bond market are substantiated, adequacy of infrastructure development to the needs of the stock market is established. Recommendations for increasing the role of corporate bonds in the financing of innovation and investment projects in entrepreneurship are proposed.
