Modernity and contemporary people in prose and publicist works by Anar

Abstract
In the paper the pecularities of contemporary society and its representatives are revealed in the works of the well-known Azerbaijan writer Anar. Anar's works are analyzed on the basis of modern approaches to the systematic analysis of artistic texts. Having started his creativity in the 60-th of the XX century, Anar is stil the most readable author both in our country, and abroad. Both the stories and journalism of the writer are very significant for understanding his whole creative path and the concept of modernity. In them are concentrated the poetics of Anar – from everyday conflicts to the intense interest in the moral world of modern man, from the awareness of civic activity to the desire to reveal the psychological depth of the hero. The person`s internal world, moral values in the society, the theme of the person in contemporary world, and other issues are discussed in the paper.
